Welcome to Pourty. I am Jon Rathbone, the inventor of Pourty and founder of our growing business. My wife Lucy works alongside me and looks after our family of 3 children plus dog and hamster!

How it all began
The idea for the Pourty Easy to Pour potty chair was conceived in England when we were potty training our 2 eldest children. Emptying the potty was such a messy business. I was inspired to find a better way and the Pourty was born. Somehow we had Pourty on the market in time for potty training our 3rd child! It is now one of the bestselling potties in the UK.

We realise that not all children want to use a potty chair and some prefer to go straight to the toilet. We’d had problems with the toilet training seat we bought for our children because it wobbled about and didn’t give them confidence to sit on it. We did some research and found out that this was a very common problem as adult toilet seats are all different shapes and sizes. We have now designed the Flexi-fit Toilet Trainer which adjusts to fit on most sizes and shapes of toilet seat securely without the scary wobble.

To complete the range we have a step stool in production stages and will be unveiling it soon.
