When my daughter was a baby, she fussed unless she was in my arms. I loved holding her, but it sure was a challenge to get anything done! We found our happy place when I started wearing her in a Pippalily baby sling. She was comfortable and voilà—I had my hands free to play with our four-year-old and take care of everyday chores.

Lots has happened since then. Jake turns 6 in November 2012, Sydney will be 2 on New Year’s Eve, and I am the proud new owner of Pippalily! I’d often imagined owning a business and my dream came true when I took over Pippalily from Victoria. I’ve enjoyed meeting customers, exhibiting at tradeshows and keeping up with social media. And I’m touched by everyone from bloggers to editors showing Pippalily the love: recently we’ve been featured in Today’s Parent and on CityLine.

I’m thrilled to nurture the Pippalily brand by offering favourites like baby slings, toy straps and breastfeeding covers. Plus I’ll be designing innovative products such as our roomy tote bags with plenty of storage and handy pockets in pretty prints. Most of all, I’m proud to continue providing the great customer experience that makes Pippalily a leading Canadian brand.
