The idea for OYO was born when a father took his 7 year old son to a Red Sox game. When it came time to pick a souvenir, his son scoured the team shop looking for a toy he could actually play with. The two had recently spent a week building an elaborate starship from a popular building-block brand just to have the boy play only with the mini-figures that came with the ship. So mini-figures were on his son’s mind but there were none to be found at the game!
