NEXIQ Technologies Inc. is a provider of diagnostic products, information management solutions and wireless, Internet-based telematics solutions for the automotive and commercial vehicle industry. The Company provides information technology (IT) solutions to truck, automotive and component original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), as well as to fleet operators, truck leasing companies and dealer service centers in the commercial vehicle market. As of April 1999, NEXIQ Technologies divested all non-strategic businesses. Substantial engineering resources and capabilities have been added to the Company, as have new, high-growth products, solutions and services related to NEXIQ Technologies’ telematics business. NEXIQ Technologies acquired Diversified Software Industries, Inc. and launched its first telematics product, eTechnician, in 2001.
