International reach

Our products are retailed through major DIY multiples in the UK, North America and Europe, as well as over 150 Graham & Brown branded outlets across high-growth overseas markets.

In addition to our 200,000 sq. ft. manufacturing site and design and marketing centre in Blackburn, Lancashire, we operate sales offices in the US, France, Holland, Russia, Canada, China and Dubai, and work with dozens of distributors in other territories.

Over the last three years, our international growth strategy has helped us increase overseas sales by 50% to around £50m, now representing half of total group turnover. This continues to be driven by strong demand from emerging markets in the Far East, Middle East, North Africa and Russia.

A history of innovation

The business was founded by Harold Graham and Henry Brown, in 1946 with the first wallpaper products quickly achieving mass appeal for a generation of post-war Britons in search of home comforts.

Members of the founding family remain on the board today ensuring the same founding values of transparency and honesty remain at the core of the group.

Over the decades, our innovations have included Superfresco, the first paintable wallpaper that was easier to apply and remove, which has now sold over 100m rolls in over 50 countries. We recently launched our new ‘paste the wall’ technology under our Superfresco EASY brand.

In the last 10 years, Graham & Brown has been credited with leading a renaissance in wallpaper, turning an old-fashioned home decorating product into an inspiring interior design item.
