GameWear was born when two college baseball players literally cut the seam out of a baseball when they saw the potential for it to be worn as a bracelet or necklace. Inspired by this “wear the game” vision, GameWear was founded in 2003 with a grass roots strategy to bring sports fans closer to the games they love. GameWear’s baseball products debuted to enthusiastic fan response at the College World Series in 2004. Over time, the company expanded its product lines to reach fans of basketball, hockey, soccer, softball, and tennis. Simultaneously, GameWear gained official licensing rights from every major professional sports league, their respective players’ associations, and hundreds of colleges and universities.
