Dr. Bloom’s Chewable Jewels were invented by dentist, Dr. Helen Bloom Smith, along with her sister, Dr. Joy Bloom Wright, and friend, Mary Settlemier.

Dr. Helen Bloom Smith earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine in June 2004. She is a 1994 U.S. Naval Academy graduate and was an Aircraft Division Officer of an F/A-18 Jet Squadron in Jacksonville, Florida. After her seven years of active duty in the Navy. She now resides in Birmingham, Alabama with her husband, two sons and daughter while practicing dentistry.

Dr. Joy Bloom Wright earned her Doctorate and Masters in Psychology in Organizational Development in 2008 . She is a 1993 U.S. Naval Academy graduate and received her Naval Flight Officer Wings in Pensacola, Florida. She was trained in Virginia Beach, Virginia to fly F-14 Tomcats and served for eight years active duty in the Navy. She currently resides in Temecula, California with her husband and three sons.

Mrs. Mary Wheeler Settlemier is a Communications Major of Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana and entered the work force in 1994. She has 13 years of business experience in B2B sales as well as marketing, PR and production. She currently resides in North Richland Hills, Texas with her husband and four children.
