Down Inc. is a 3rd generation family owned company. In regards to domestic fill material, Down Inc. is the only vertical organization in the United States. They have complete control from the farm level to the manufactuing of finished goods. Their domestic down & feathers only travel 117 miles from our parent company in Indiana.

Once received in Grand Rapids, Michigan our down & feathers are washed twice (once at the farm level) with mulitple cycles of 140 degree farhrenheit water. Then they are sterilized twice with 284 degree steam. This ensures that the down & feathers are free of dust, dirt and allergens and are considered hypo-allergenic under FTC standards.

Essential to the quality of any down & feather products is the cleanliness and color of the fill material. Down Inc. is proud of the bright white color, consistency and quality of their domestic down & feathers. They control the sources of what matters the most to bedding products…what is on the inside.
