Company Profile Request update info.

Bradley Brand has a history dating back to 1902 with the founding of the Bradley Lumber Company by the Fullerton brothers. The Bradley mill saw the ups and downs of the WW I, the Roaring Twenties, the Great Depression, WW II, the post-war boom, the Civil Rights Movement, the end of the Cold War and dawn of a new century. Of course it’s seen a number of upgrades, but all the while it’s been sawing millions upon millions of board feet of hardwood lumber.

The timber industry has been the largest use of manpower in Bradley Co. for about a century and you could almost say it runs in the blood around here.

At Bradley Brand Furniture, we draw upon deep pool of experience to build genuine, solid hardwood furniture. We use joints like mortise-and-tenon and dove-tail, and yes, even the butt joint on occasion (but we try to avoid that one). We believe our furniture will, if used under normal use, last for several generations and often much longer.

We start with the best materials (solid hardwood lumber) and combine it with old-world craftsmanship and state-of-the-art technology in glues, screws and finishes. We use the very best quality glues (primarily Titebond III), screws (heavy 8 gauge coated decking) and stains (Min-wax, Sherwin WIlliams, et. al.). We have developed what some would call a “super duty” top coating system. The final topcoat in highly wear resistant, chemical resistant and water resistant. It’s also water-white (clear), unlike polyurethanes.
