My husband and I relocated to Brisbane from New York City in 2006 and decided that Australia would be the perfect place to start a family. When our first daughter was born we knew that travel would be a large part of her life with grandparents living in the United States and Germany. Being new to Australia, we spent most weekends exploring and soon realized how difficult it was to feed a young baby on the road. Just try finding a safe and clean high chair at a restaurant in Byron Bay or a café who will heat your baby’s bottle! The lack of suitable and safe feeding products inspired us to start BambinOz and bring to market a line of clever designs for babies going places.

Early prototypes of the Porta Chair travelled with us throughout Australia, Europe, Asia and the US. Everywhere we used it people would stop and ask where they could find such a clever solution. Over many months (and even more miles) we incorporated feedback from moms and dads and tested the product on young children and chairs of all sizes to perfect the design. We also worked closely with the Infant Nursery Products Association of Australia (INPAA), the leading independent safety advisory council, to incorporate the leading Australian and international safety standards and guidelines.

BambinOz’ next product, the Instant Bottle Warmer, was a solution to the problem “where can heat up baby’s bottle?” As every parent knows, it can be extremely difficult to find a microwave or electricity when you’re on the go. Leveraging the instant heat technology, we designed our own bottle warmer and carry pack which you can take anywhere.

Our goal is simple – to change the way you feel about traveling with young children. We hope that you and your baby enjoy our products as much as we do.
